Maritime history of Massachusetts

This - http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/travel/maritime/ - is lovely and nothing to do with work! Thanks to the Internet Scout Project for this one.

Some great places to visit are listed here. East Chop Light on Martha's Vineyard was where I gave my wife her engagement ring. I didn;t visit the USS COnstitution when I visited "Beantown", but I have been on her sister ship the USS Constellation in Baltimore harbor - I had a good chuckle as I walked up the gangplank, and the guide shouted to his mate "pull on that rope you limey b*****d".

I agree - we were in Boston recently, and did see the Constitution, as well as going on a whale watching voyage which took us through Boston Harbor and past the islands. Went to Gloucester as well.
